E-Nose Mk3.3

Mk 3.3 E-Noses are being used to monitor air at several industrial sites as well as in research contexts. They provide a stream of data that measures odour in the air as rapidly as once per second.
Some users have their Mk 3.3 E-Noses permanently placed at a monitoring point down wind from their site, while others carry the device around sites to effect regular and rapid audits of odour sources.

Real-time continuous montoring within a large range of applications is at your fingertips with "flagship" Mk3.3 E-Nose. The Mk 3.3 has a host of important functions such an on-board microprocessor drivens self-diagnosis and calibration set by the user; and an internal "breathing system" for sucking rhythmical "breaths" of air into the e-nose, or for sucking samples from difficult to reach places. Sensor arrays are interchangeable and the system can be configured for RS232 or Modbus (for SCADA) protocol.

The Mk 3.3 can be supplied with a customised lockable steel cabinet through which air is drawn and supplied to the E-Nose. It is fitted with serial and USB ports and comes standard with a 7 hour sealed lead-acid battery and charger for handy portable applications. A suite of user-friendly software for PCs (RS232 protocol) is provided as standard so you can start using your E-Nose immediately. Wireless data tranmission is available as an optional extra.

E-Nose Mk3.3.0 and Mk4

These devices are designed for single or multi-unit air monitoring. They have a limited but powerful set of functions "stripped" from the larger Mk 3.3 "flagship" E-Nose.

The E-Nose Mk3.3.0 and Mk4 provides a constant, ongoing and immediate solution to odour and air pollution measurement: It draws air over its sensor array in a constant stream. The sensors deliver ongoing sets of digitised signals representing the chemicals in the air at a rate of one set per second. Immediately, a smell can be identified and an alarm activated or the operator informed by smart phone.

Your Choice of Sensor Arrays

These can be set to 15 levels of sensitivity.

"M" Abattoirs, animal yards and rendering plants (5 sensors)

"S" Solid and liquid waste; sewage pumping and processing; petrochemical sites (6 sensors)

"I" Vapours from spray-paints & solvents; emission of chemicals from boat-building; security situations involving graffiti vandals (4 sensors)

This allows you to collect and monitor your smell emissions anywhere on site, from the comfort of your office, instantaneously and non-stop, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, fifty-two weeks a year. You can "see" smells when they are happening, respond to them immediately, and record them permanently.

How it works

Our devices consist of arrays of robust and fast acting chemical sensors, supplemented by novel patented electronics and software. Chemicals in the air are detected by the sensor arrays, registering complex odour "images" in real time.

A permanent record is sent to your computer via line or wireless connection, where it is identified, quantified and alarms for abnormal events.

Alarm messages can be sent directly to your smart phone.
